Built by a Kefalos family — rebuilt for 2026

Bill & Mike was built in 1994 by a family born and raised in Kefalos, who spent years in Brooklyn, New York before coming home to Kos. Two of the apartments have now been taken back to the walls and rebuilt from scratch: new bathrooms, new kitchens, new furniture, air conditioning in every room.

These are proper apartments, not one-night studios. Two separate bedrooms, so nobody sleeps on a sofa. A full-size kitchen with an oven, so you can actually cook. A washing machine, so a two-week stay works. A large modern bathroom with a walk-in shower. And a private balcony to end the day on.

The property sits in a quiet, slightly elevated spot above Kefalos Bay — away from the traffic, but a few minutes on foot from the water, the tavernas and the beach bars. Guests share the outdoor pool, the sun terrace and the BBQ garden, and park for free right in front of the door.

Kefalos Bay is the long, sandy south-west corner of Kos — calm water, beach bars, fish tavernas and some of the best windsurfing on the island. The apartments sit just above it: quiet enough to hear nothing at night, close enough to walk down for dinner.

What happens after I send the form?

Your request goes straight to our inbox. We check the calendar and reply by email, usually within 24 hours, with availability and the total for your dates. Nothing is charged until you confirm, and we never pass your details to anyone else.

What is the difference between the two apartments?

Nothing except the view. Both are two-bedroom apartments, renovated at the same time to the same standard, with the same kitchen, bathroom and equipment. The Garden View balcony looks over the garden and the pool; the Sea View balcony faces Kefalos Bay.

Is the pool private?

The pool, the sun terrace and the BBQ garden are shared with the other guests of the property. The apartment itself is entirely yours — no shared spaces inside.

How far is the beach?

About 400 m down to the water, and roughly a ten-minute walk to the beachfront tavernas and bars of Kefalos Bay. The property sits slightly above the bay, so you get the view and the quiet without being on the main road.

Do we need a car?

Not for the beach and the tavernas — those are walkable. A car helps for exploring the rest of the island: Agios Stefanos, Limnionas, Agios Theologos and Kos Town. Parking is free right in front of the apartment.

Can we book both apartments together?

Yes. Two two-bedroom apartments side by side work well for a large family or two families travelling together — up to eight guests. Say so in the message box and we will price both for you.

Do you have anything smaller or cheaper?

We also have studios on the property. They have not been renovated yet — simpler and more basic than the two apartments, but cheaper, and they share the same garden, terrace and parking. Choose “Studio” in the form and we will send you the details and the price.
